WATER QUALITY GUIDE

Water guidance for Pinellas County.

Find local water reports and compare filtration, softening and system care for your Florida home.

Use the report for your water supplier.

Start with the supplier on your water bill. Pinellas County Utilities and the City of St. Petersburg publish their own water-quality reports; use the one that serves your address rather than assuming one report covers every home in the county.

Read the Pinellas County Consumer Confidence Reports or the St. Petersburg drinking-water report. Check your supplier's current notices if the water suddenly changes.

Describe what you want to improve.

Tell Rock whether you notice mineral deposits, drinking-water taste, an odor or a change in an existing system's performance. Note whether the concern affects one faucet or the whole home and whether it occurs in hot or cold water. A laboratory result, if you have one, is more useful than assuming a cause from the water's appearance.

Rock's Florida team serves Pinellas County, including St Petersburg and Kenwood. Contact the regional team with your address and water-system question.

Compare treatment at one tap with treatment for the home.

An under-sink system serves a particular faucet, while whole-home equipment treats the incoming supply. A softener addresses hardness. These are different decisions; discuss your goals and water assessment before choosing a combination.

Florida water filtration and water softener services explain the options. The system-selection guide covers certification, installation questions and ongoing costs.

Keep existing equipment in the conversation.

Have the model number, installation date and last filter-change date ready. Tell the team if taste or flow has changed. Water testing and assessment can inform the next step, while filter maintenance covers service for equipment you already own.

Use the city-water guide to read a report and the RO guide to plan a drinking-water system. The report and equipment illustrations are examples, not local test results.
